
I’m fairly certain her back was the prettiest canvas I had ever seen. So pretty I can’t imagine Van Gogh or Picasso or Monet or Rembrandt would have even bothered unpacking their brushes and palettes. They would have laid eyes on it, admired it for a good while and then they would have left. They would have walked right out the door they had come, shaking their heads whilst applauding a deity they had not known previously existed. Yes, that’s how I’d describe it. I’m fairly certain her back would have made a famous atheist painter go to church on Sunday.
